BSR Approval received for the cladding on all blocks
IMI is delighted to announce that Gateway 2 approval has now been secured, allowing us to progress to the construction phase.
BSR submitted for the recladding
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) submission for Gateway 2 approval has been submitted and the information has been validated. IMI are awaiting comments and approval from the BSR so recladding works can start on site.
BSR Submission expected in September
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) submission for Gateway 2 approval is scheduled for September. This submission will provide the regulator with the detailed design package and supporting safety information, ensuring compliance with Building Safety Act requirements.
RIBA Stage 3 completed by the Design teams
The design teams have successfully completed RIBA Stage 3 (Developed Design) for the cladding replacement works. This milestone confirms that the key design decisions, material specifications, and safety strategies have been finalised.
Consultant Teams Appointed for Recladding
We are pleased to announce that the design consultant team for the cladding replacement has now been appointed. The team includes specialist façade engineers, fire consultants, and project managers who will oversee the works from design through to completion.
